Happy Friday. Hopefully everyone is settling in to good routines and making great connections with both students and colleagues. How is everyone adjusting to the new cell phone policy? I've heard only positives thus far. Please let me know how it's going at your location.
The bigger question for the week is how are YOU doing? I know recent events in the news have caused some of us a great deal of sadness, anxiety, and fear. It shouldn't have to be this way.
What can we do when we feel helpless? We can vote in November for the candidate that we think will keep our students, our kids, and our colleagues safe. Our local, state, and national PACs endorse candidates that they feel will best protect educators and our schools.
The links below are for groups you can become involved with on the local level (I have no affiliation with these groups, for the record).
PS--Our amazing Administrative Assistant will be out next week--we thank you in advance for your patience and appreciate your cooperation with directing AEA questions to the office.
